This drawing had a large amount of gold leafing to be done so I thought I would make a time-lapse video demonstrating how it is done. With a short cameo from a little someone near the end.

Another piece that took a very long time to complete. I always tell myself I'm going to work smaller, and then in the planning stage the drawing gets bigger and bigger and the final product takes me weeks to finish. The result in this one is great though, I don't think it would have been as good if it were half the size.

I successfully attached a piece of paper to a birch panel without any problems. In contrast to my attempt last year with the painting"Dreaming" where I had to pull, scrape, and sand off 2 large pieces of paper before getting the 3rd to work.
My son thinks this large panel is for him to draw on. He says I'm joking when I tell him it's for one of my drawings.
