After Bouguereau

At a certain point I have to give up on all the subtle details that Bouguereau added to his painting. This is a smaller version, and a drawing, and many fewer hours were spent on this copy than the original.
I'm moving studio spaces in a month so there may be some distance between my posting over the next few weeks.

I know I only just posted a detail of this as a work in progress this morning, but after spending all day on the drawing I can say it is finished. It only took me a little more than 3 weeks to do this piece from start to finish, which is record time for this size of drawing. Now that I'm on the instagram I will try and post more daily / "every other day" progress shots of my work.

My plan was for this drawing to be finished by the end of the weekend. Right now, I don't think this drawing will be finished until the end of the week. So this is a temporary post to let people know that I am still alive, and still working.
